Souvlaki Turkey Pita Wrap

Ingredients:

1/2 cup low-fat plain yogurt
1/4 cup crumbled reduced fat feta cheese
1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint OR 1 teaspoon dried mint
1 clove garlic, minced
Salt and black pepper
1 package Honeysuckle White® Fresh Ground Turkey Patties
4 whole what pita rounds (6 1/2 -inch diameter), warmed
2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
2 medium tomatoes, sliced
1 small red onion, sliced

How to prepare this recipe:

  1. To make yogurt sauce, in bowl, whisk together yogurt, feta cheese, mint and garlic; season with salt and pepper.
  2. Season turkey patties with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill over gas or charcoal about 2 minutes on each side or until cooked through, or cook over medium heat in skillet coated lightly with cooking spray.
  4. Cut open top of pita rounds and fill each with 1/2 cup lettuce, 1 turkey patty, 2 slices tomato and 2 slices onion.
  5. Drizzle with yogurt sauce.
