HOLIDAY ON A BUDGET
Decorations on a Dime
- Have your kids help out. Print out these fun coloring pages and place cards.
- Use what you already have. Guests won't be traveling throughout every room in your entire house. Pick favorite pieces from different rooms and combine them for a fresh and festive look.
- Flowers can be pricey. Set out an assortment of candles or a creatively arranged assortment of twigs, gourds or pinecones for a lower-cost centerpiece.
- Search local resale shops for unique pieces. A great find could make a wonderful conversation starter.
- Borrow platters, serving dishes, tables and linens from neighbors or friends if you need more; don't buy.
